Great location, near subway and maybe 30 min walk to the ferry. You reach Toledo and Spanish quarters with a little walk.
Everything was good good cleaning and great staff.

Okay hotel

Nice area, about a 30-minute walk from the main attractions of Naples. The room was very small and basic, but fine if you’re not too fussy. Bed was comfortable, decent pillow, and air-con worked well.
Probably wouldn’t book again though.
We arrived early to drop our luggage (as we were told we could), but had a really hard time even finding the place. Ended up standing outside for almost an hour trying to get in. Called the hotel 3 times with no answer, even spoke to a receptionist at another Barbarella hotel who wasn’t much help. Eventually got through and were let in, but still no one at reception. A housekeeper took our bags and took photos of our passports.
When we came back later to check in, again no one there, so we had to call to get instructions on where to find our keys. Then noticed our luggage had just been left on the reception desk in full view.
After getting into the room (with no help), we were then asked to send passport photos again via WhatsApp, even though they’d already been taken earlier, which felt a bit strange and not very secure.
There was never anyone at reception the whole stay. One night our key didn’t work and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a reply on WhatsApp to get help.
Also no glasses or cups in the room, and no clear access to drinking water. If there was any, we weren’t told.
Shower leaked quite badly and had mildew in the corners, and light from the corridor comes through into the room.
Overall it was okay for the basics, but the lack of staff and communication made it feel a bit disorganised.

It was very difficult to locate the hotel. There wasn’t enough signage. I wound up driving around the block for almost an hour because I didn’t see any signs. Getting into the location was difficult. There were 3 keys and they didn’t always work. You had to play around with them once you got them inserted. They didn’t name the restaurant that was included. It just said it was 10 meters away and I wound up spending 50€ getting breakfast and coffee for the days I was there at the restaurant I was entitled to breakfast at.
The staff seemed very nice .
I was very disappointed
It also takes a very long time to get questions answered as I could only message them via email

There was nobody at the reception.
The only time there was a woman, she could not speak English.
We had nobody at the hotel who tobask for advice, how to transport, where to go.
The building was nice and elegant

Not to be returned

Very bad structure, from the reception virtually absent, until the end, room that as you enter stumbles in the step, noisy overlooking the street, and many small precautions that there were, empty minibar, soaps counted that if you needed it all the time you did not have, in short not nice experience. I found much better in Naples. I'm sorry as a Neapolitan to have to release this review, but it is deserved.
