The breakfast was always amazing, the room and views were wonderful. I think the "key in the lightswitch" to activate room electricity is genius, but wish the staff would proactively turn the heat on in the evenings (we had to call each night).

More like a bed & breakfast

We stayed at La Moresca while attending a wedding in Ravello. The hotel was part of the list chosen as the preferred hotel for guests. La Moresca is helmed by friendly & helpful staff . The hotel doesn’t have an elevator and travel with luggage is painful but the young ladies that man the reception help transport your luggage up & down the winding staircase. The rooms are small & very simply anointed though they are very clean as they are serviced by the staff that man the breakfast buffet. All rooms are equipped with a safe deposit box which is not very user friendly. Our stay included breakfast which was served on the hotel’s rooftop patio and was adequate rather than sumptuous.

Staff, cleanliness, breakfast and room functionality were all excellent. Although we didn’t struggle, be aware that there is no elevator and the staircase is a bit steep.

Hotel Moresca a place to remember, so beautiful and cozy!

Just outside the tourist hustle and bustle is the gem ‘Hotel La Moresca’ on the square with an antique fountain. The beautiful building, with elongated Moorish windows and constructed in white stucco facades, stands out clearly against the clear blue skies above Ravello. It's like walking into a painting by De Chirico.
Upon arrival, a shuttle will take you from the car park in a lower part of the village, where we immediately received an extremely warm welcome from Anna from the square. And then you know: this will be a very nice stay! What a nice and professional staff Hotel La Moresca has. Our room was on a corner and had two balconies from which we had two views, over a piece of the Amalfi Coast and over the picturesque mountain ranges surrounding the hotel.
We enjoyed everything: the rooms are beautifully designed, with exciting details like glazed tiles coming from nearby Vietri. Breakfast is served outdoors on the Third Party Rooftop Terrace, with stunning views over the bay of the next coastal town, Minori. Hotel Moresca has a 'bottega' on the ground floor where you can drink different wines on the terrace and where you can order different small cold dishes.
We were very sorry that our days in Ravello flew by, we would have liked to have been guests of La Moresca for longer. It was nice that we were seen off by the staff! Anna, Maria, Maria-Grazia and Sara, thank you very much for everything!

The staff is wonderful! Gave restaurant suggestions that were delicious! Suggestions of what to do. Ravello is a beautiful town . La Moresca is a perfect location for experiencing Ravello. The walk from bus stop was easy and they helped carry our bags to our room , The room was lovely ! I was worried about the stairs in Ravello and it is not bad at all. One of the best places we stayed in Italy !
