Rome experience
I was a little worried about the location but never had a problem. Transport was practically on our doorstep. Although the hotel is quite old we were comfortable and we can ot fault the hospitality we received.

HOTEL COROT ROME
we use it a lot as a company for our staff in transit through Rome
easy to reach
located in a strategic and convenient spot next to Roma Termini train station
ideal for a pleasant stop while waiting for your next trip or a meeting
you can reach tourist or shopping spots on foot such as Via Nazionale or Via Veneto
welcoming but simple environment, everything clean and staff courteous and always available...excellent in everything
I send friends and relatives and no one ever has a complaint or service issue

The visit was for work, but I would return every time.
I spent 4 nights at this hotel and had a great time. Excellent welcome, excellent hotel, very kind and helpful staff, excellent location near the station. I will definitely return and I recommend it to you.

Very decent
Very decent hotel, we were worried after all the negative reviews we read at the last moment. But once again, that was unfounded. We then stayed at a hotel in Pisa and a hotel in Florence, and neither matched the Corot. So, indeed, you have to ask at the reception to turn on the air conditioning, or at least to adjust it, but once you know the technique, it’s very quick. The staff is very nice, except for one young woman; the gentlemen speak French, and the blonde lady is simply adorable. The brunette lady at breakfast is the same ☺️. Breakfast is classic: bread, croissant, toast; for fruits, it’s either canned or fresh apples, but then there’s a hot drink dispenser. We are indeed facing the Termini station (personally, I live in Paris, so I found it relatively calm ). There is a wide choice of restaurants nearby; we actually ate several evenings at Julie’s, a little further away where the owner has some nice anecdotes to share about the flame in Beijing,
Regarding the hotel, the bathroom is perfect, I liked the vintage side, the room is basic; personally, we just ask for a decent bed to sleep. The curtains are very blackout, and there are shutters behind; no power outage between June 25 and June 29. Honestly, we recommend it without fuss (ps: wifi is fine in the rooms and the elevator is fine for 2 adults, 2 large suitcases, 2 backpacks, and 1 banana honestly, $100 a night for 2 on a trip, that’s not asking too much)

Perfect location
Initially I was a little concerned that we were so close to the train station...that it would be noisy and unsafe at night....however, we never felt unsafe and our sons visited late bars and got back without any issues. There were a couple of power cuts but these did not have a negative impact on our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. Perfect location for trains and metro making it super easy to navigate your way around the city. There are some lovely restaurants close to the hotel with friendly staff and customers where we enjoyed the evening chatting with other diners.
