Beautiful hotel, breakfast and spa experience
The breakfast is excellent - something for everyone and changed daily. We really enjoyed having breakfast here. The area it’s served in is lovely - decor is very calming and it’s a nice intimate setting.
There is a charming roof terrace which was a lovely spot to get a drink before heading out. Prices were reasonable. As a non-drinker, I always appreciate an alcohol free beer option on a menu, which it didn’t have. But, it seems that this isn’t very common in Rome in general. Only very touristy places seemed to have it. Delicious olives and crisps as standard with drinks were appreciated. Staff here were extremely friendly and created a real home from home feel.
We stayed in a standard double room and it was good. I think for a hotel in this location the areas for improvement below were very minor and wouldn’t stop me booking it again or recommending it to others.
Best bits:
The bed was very comfy. Extremely comfy.
Shower was excellent. Decor was lovely. The air con was very much appreciated in the scorching August heat.
Lovely toiletries provided. Delicious smelling and extras like cotton buds and wipes were included.
Could have been better:
Our room was pretty snug. This meant the end of the bed was only a small distance from the door, which I’m not a fan of. There was a lot of noise from other people passing or going into rooms nearby. It also felt a bit uncomfortable sleeping so close to where people were moving around.
We ran out of the provided shower gel on the first morning. I completely forgot to ask for it to be topped up. Twice. I’m sure if I had it would have been sorted immediately, but it can’t have been checked on the two days the room was cleaned or topped up when the room was prepared after the last guests checked out.
There was a flat screen TV which was a nice touch but it only showed news channels in various languages and a couple of sports channels. Obviously you don’t go to Rome to watch TV, but we would have enjoyed a movie channel to chill out to, even if dubbed it would have been interesting!
There is a spa you can use for an hour each day completely free. It is gorgeous and a real treat after a day of sight seeing. We really appreciated having this experience on our wedding anniversary. There were no hard sells for treatments either. Really friendly and accessible experience.

Boutique hotel in excellent location. Attention to the choice of the room.
Good breakfast.
Very kind and careful collaborators.
Attention to the room to be reserved. There are very small classic rooms, which do not reflect the indicative photo on the site.
