Perfectly Adequate & Affordable

Location - Due to a last minute change in my travel plans, I needed a hotel for just one night in Rome. I picked Hotel Pacific because it was the most affordable and the location seemed convenient. It is about a 6 minute walk from the Cipro Metro Station. There is a 24/7 Carrefour down the road and plenty of great restaurants in the area. The Vatican is one stop away by metro, but you could take the bus or walk.
Room - I booked the Single Room which was as tiny as it is in the pictures but comfortable nevertheless for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable. There was a small desk with a kettle. There were plug points near the bed and at the desk. The bathroom was tiny as is to be expected in Italy. The air-conditioning worked well and there were plug points near the bed and at the desk. My room had a small balcony.
Breakfast was included and consisted of the usual fare one expects in Europe - Bread, Cheese, Cold Cuts, Eggs, Sausages, Bacon, Cake, Tea, Coffee, etc.
If I was staying longer, I would pick a bigger room.

Location is in the vicinity of the Vatican.
We stayed one night during a Roman heatwave.
Air Conditioning perfect. Elevators . Very clean ,
basic accommodation. Filtered water station 24 hours. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous.
Staff assisted with taxis .
We were nicely surprised.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are always attentive and very friendly. The room was perfect—very comfortable, clean, and ready on time. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious.

Tha hotel is old and would be Ok if the AC would work as it should. The out side temperature was 39*C and the room was warm. The best solution they had for me was a fan. This is not acceptable but I had no choice. Other things were Ok and acceptable.

EXCELLENT

four-star hotel located in the heart of Rome; old building but hotel perfectly comfortable; it has a secure indoor parking lot that costs 10 euros per night; the rooms are affected, externally, by the location, but internally, although small, they have everything you need (the cleaning ladies need to be careful about what is left in the minibar because I found an open sandwich there from some tourist and that was not pleasant); the strong point is definitely the breakfast:; never seen such an abundant variety as the one seen at the Pacific; extraordinary and truly international; we had a good time overall
