Really good hotel

Really handy location close to the metro and station! Also lots of restaurants and gelati shops nearby with corner shops for the essentials. 20 minute walk to trevi fountain. Really nice room with free aircon and the staff are all really nice special shout out to Serena at front desk who was really lovely and helped show us places on the map and how to get there easily! They also let us check in early and leave our suitcase in reception. Has a fridge in the room and TV and hairdryer.

Hotel dishonesty and refusal of refund for early checkout

We had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel and with Expedia. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly transferred to another hotel of significantly lower quality without any prior notice or proper explanation. The staff handled the situation poorly, took no responsibility for the miscommunication, and were not transparent throughout the process.
The replacement accommodation was unacceptable: the room was unclean, there was no Wi-Fi as advertised, and the overall condition did not match what we paid for or expected. The hotel was advertised as a 3-star property, but in reality it was much closer to a 2-star experience, which felt very misleading.
We had booked and paid for two nights, but only stayed one night because the conditions were so poor. Unfortunately, by the time we realized the situation, it was too late at night to find alternative accommodations.
We are especially frustrated that despite the misleading information, poor service, and failure to provide the booked accommodation, no reasonable resolution or refund was offered for the unused night. We contacted Expedia for assistance, but the issue was not adequately addressed.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and we hope both the hotel and Expedia take greater accountability in handling customer concerns fairly and honestly. We are requesting a refund for the unused night and a proper review of how this situation was handled.

We had a terrible experience. We arrived and did the checking, they took us to a different property ( not sure what type of arragement they have) that was terrinle maintained. Terrible smell and full of insects. Want to enjoy Roma? stay away from here.
