Very nice hotel in great section (Monti) of Rome. Outstanding breakfast included (hot and cold foods). Front desk extremely helpful with directions, resturant suggestions, and anything you needed during your stay. They even included bottled water and some snacks in the room! Nice balcony space. Excellent hotel.

We booked a room for August 30 and requested a quiet room in advance through Booking.com. Unfortunately, this request was clearly not taken into account.
Our room (203) was right next to a room where a baby was crying and screaming very loudly. We politely asked reception if we could change rooms.
The two receptionists, particularly the young brunette woman, told us that it was not their problem but ours, and that the only solution was to pay an additional charge to move to another room.
We completely understand that a hotel cannot be responsible for a baby crying, but we expected a little understanding, kindness, and an attempt to find a reasonable solution, especially since we had requested a quiet room in advance.
A real shame, because the room itself was very nice.

We are really sorry to read this review, we are a young and dedicated team. We take our guests' satisfaction as our top priority, so it's important for us to clear up a few points.
Yours was a last-minute reservation, that we received through Expedia and not Booking.com, and, unfortunately, there were no notes of a request of “quite room” attached.
Ours is a small hotel in a pretty tranquil neighborhood and in a traffic restricted area, which means that few cars pass by on our street. When we happen to receive a request for a “quite room”, we do our best to accomodate it, but we cannot guarantee it. Being yours a last-minute reservation and with the hotel almost fully booked, there wasn’t much we could do to change your room: we offered our only other available room beside yours with a small supplement to pay, since it was a category much higher than the one you booked.
Like we explained, when it comes to structural issues with the room, we take responsibility, act immediately to solve the problem and, when needed, offer a free of charge change of room. However this was not the case.
We also never said that the crying baby was your problem and we are really sadden to read that: it was pretty much the other way around, you barged into the Reception saying that it was our problem to solve, that we had to call the room to ask them to make the baby stop crying. You even knocked directly at the door of the other guests, surely while they were in a moment of distress. Needless to say, the demand took us by surprise to say the least.
Of course, we are sorry about the inconvenience, but we pride ourselves of being a family friendly hotel and we always try to meet halfway with all our valued guests' needs, but in this particular occasion we think that our doing was not in the wrong.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well air-conditioned, which made a real difference during the August heat. Staff were warm and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a great restaurant recommendation or directions to the next sight.
What really stood out was how perfectly this hotel worked as a family base — quiet enough for good rest after long days of sightseeing, yet close enough to everything that we never needed a taxi to start our day. We walked to the Colosseum, to Trevi Fountain, and to countless dinners in Monti without a second thought.
If you’re visiting Rome with family and want a home base that combines comfort, location, and that genuine Roman neighborhood feel, the Sentho Roma is exactly what you’re looking for. We’d stay here again without hesitation.

Quiet and comfortable in Monte
A private, quiet, comfortable small hotel in the Monte neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room spotless, the breakfast generous. We had a junior suite which was a very nice room.

What a wonderful hotel!
Our room was spacious and offered many amenities . The entire staff made us feel so welcome.. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious . We will stay here agin on our next visit to Rome.
