Very good lication. Ro erto is very helpful with details and business information. 4 locks get one into the room, outer doors x3 and room door. Felt very safe and quiet neighborhood. Little fully stocked kitchenette in common area.

Nightmare Experience at the Tula Inn
I had a reservation to stay at the Tula Inn for the night of the 27th and the 28th of January. Unfortunately, upon check in I noticed a horrible odor coming from the bathroom shower that made the entire room smell. I was not able to identify the smell but it seemed like mold as the shower was moldy, taped up, and in terrible condition. A staff member helped me temporarily fix the odor by providing a candle, which masked the scent originally. I put the candle out before bed on the night of the 27th and the next morning, the entire room smelled again. Not only does the smell prevent me from being able to stay in the room, but it is also presented a potential health concern. I spoke again with the staff member about potentially changing rooms and he said there were none available even though there was no one else staying in the entire place… I wonder why. I checked out out over a day early.
I then called the owner who offered to provide me a refund. She gave me two options:
1. Stay at Tula for the remainder of the reservation and receive a partial refund for the inconvenience
2. Check out now and receive a full refund for the nights of the 27th and 28th
I went with option 2 and the owner agreed to pay me in full at a later date when she was available. On January 31st she reached out and offered me an 80 euro refund, arguing that she never promised a full refund and thought the 80 euro was fair despite the fact that I checked out over a day early to receive the full refund as she promised. After arguing for some time, I realized I was not going to get the full refund out of her and decided to dispute the transaction. I have yet to receive even the 80 euro refund from her. What a nightmare experience. This place is a scam and looks nothing like what it does in the photos.

While I barely saw my room because I was out being a tourist, I did appreciate how clean it was. The staff was nice. It was semi close to food. It was close to public transportation in the area.

The Tula Inn is in a great location that makes it easy to explore all that the Roma City Center has to offer.
What’s not made very clear is that this is a shared/communal living situation. You have your own bedroom/bathroom in a shared house. Instructions are rather unclear for late check in on how to get into the units.
Sheets were clearly washed and bed was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was disgusting and had urine stains throughout the shower. The toilet seat was taped together where it had cracked and the walls were covered in scuffs. Our unit did not have any of the furniture picture in the listing photos outside of the bed/bed frame and storage. Overall not the worst place you could stay, just was not represented accurately in any sense.
If cleaned/painted this place has great potential if you don’t care about sharing facilities with others.

I got there and no one let me in. I had to book another hotel last minute.
