Comfortable place to stay.

We received a good service, clean and comfortable room. Hotel placed in the centre close to the stores and good restaurants. If it weren't for our plans for the next day, we would have liked to stay there longer Generally comfortable place to stay in Scalea.

Central

Well maintained , comfortable , well maintained rooms location in the center which allows you to move on foot with ease by car according to heavy traffic at central times. Less central than the sea but not far ( 300 meters from the beaches )

Comfortable structure and confirmations to standards in the city center a few meters from the sea cleaning and linen change every day kindness and courtesy of the staff common terrace x relaxation and wanting to eat a takeaway pizza available

Great hotel in laid-back Scalea!

Scalea was such a welcome change of pace from Sicily and Napoli! Perhaps it’s not always so slow-paced, but it was very nice to be able to find free parking and not get run over by cars and scooters everywhere! Very enjoyable to just stroll. San Matteo Palace Hotel was striking for how immaculate it is when you first walk in. The clerk at the desk was very friendly and helpful and explained everything to us. The room barely had enough space to get around the bed to the terrace. It would not be suitable if you had an interest in spending time in the room. I don’t think you could even pull the desk chair out. The breakfast included in the room price was good and plentiful.

Beautiful Hotel...

We went to Scalea the other day ago, we have decided to stay in this hotel and i have no words just very beautiful.
-The location was perfect and was very close to the beach (just a 5 minute walk).
-Rooms were clean.
-Service was excellent
Would defiantly recommend this hotel to other future guests coming to Calabria.
