Good place on the Via Francigena

Lovely Hotel on the Via Francigena, right next to the piazza del Comune. This is an excellent location, right next to the best Caffe’s and Ristorante.
Check in was quick and efficient and lot of fun: I can’t speak Italian and the lovely lady can’t speak English! but we sorted everything smoothly. We were early and she greatfully check us to our rooms.
The rooms was clean and quiet, bit tiny, but the views in the direction of the Roman Amphitheater made up for this. Bathroom really small, but it was clean with hot water and everything we needed.
WiFi was great in all the rooms.
We opted for a early checkout to continue on our Via Francigena, the lady graciously arranged us early morning drinks and snacks. Highly appreciated!

Hotel is not bike safe

This hotel is not bike safe. When checking on my via francigena trip I was allowed to put my bike in the breakfast area. The next morning I found it outside because of "regulations".
The lady organizing the breakfast reacted when I put my 300€ bike computer on the bike while I fetched the luggage. Storing a 6000€ bike outdoors unlocked did not cause a reaction.
Avoid this hotel as a bicyclist.

What’s around Heart of Sutri

The structure is located at the entrance of Sutri and behind the same structure there is a large free municipal parking.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean, as well as warm enough.
Ultimately we are talking about a good foothold in case you want to visit the neighboring villages.
Keep in mind that the property does not have breakfast in the morning, but still there are several bars nearby where you can arrange.
Nothing to highlight negative, except for the problems that upon our arrival had the POS for electronic payment of the stay.
I believe that the malfunction was due to a poor quality of the connection line of the POS itself, so for safety it is better to also provide for any cash payment of the room.

Nice people

The hotel is a bit tired but the people running it are really helpful and very friendly. We only stayed 1 night (walking Via Francigena) and it was fine, right in the centre of the old town with breakfast included.

Hotel Sutrium

I would not recommend this hotel, you may find certainly better options in Sutri. This is a well located hotel, next to the main place, but very basic and breakfast was also very poor. Personnel was not very friendly, which is something you don’t expect for a place supposed to be Via Francigena pilgrims friendly. Even if rooms are small, they were clean. Price is also rather cheap.
