Recently renovated hotel

Clean hotel, knowledgeable staff, friendly and always efficient. Great value for money. The location is really convenient: a stone's throw from Ortigia and, in a few minutes, you reach the highway to easily go both to Catania and to the south of the province (Noto, Pachino, etc.)

This won the award for the hardest bed on our trip around southeast Sicily. Other main negative was small room size - might have been able to swing a kitten.
Positives included the view from the breakfast room and the breakfast itself. Also pretty good location - on a Saturday night buzzing bars and gelaterias (not sure how you spell the plural).24 minute walk to the Piazza del Duomo which we actually enjoyed.

Weekend in Ortigia

Very convenient hotel to all major sites of interest, Ortigia is just a short walk away. Good breakfast, the jams and pastries are excellent. Simple but clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff.

4 Star, NOT

Location is central. Easy to get around. 4 starThe hotel claims to be 4 star
It is a 3 star at best. AC does not work
Bathroom is not a convenient space. The room was small for 2 people and not equipped to have 2 people. Front desk person was rude. Perhaps he is overworked.

Hotel advisable

The hotel corresponds to the presentation and is fully functional to a stay in Syracuse in a very favorable position to reach the historic center, the port area and the island of Ortigia.
Comforts are punctual and above average. The furnishings, sanitary ware and other interior structures appear to have been recently installed, unlike what is found in many hotels even larger.
The Management is available for guest requests.
