Perfect little Sicilian apartment close to beach and old town
In early June I saw not one insect. Spotlessly clean.
Yes it has many stairs. It’s a Sicilian apartment.
If the kitchenette was kitted out a bit better I would give it 5 stars considering the price range.

Trip
Once we arrived at check-in, we were welcomed by the very accommodating hosts who provided useful information about the area, but once we entered the apartment, it is our habit to check the cleanliness of the spaces, and unfortunately, we were not satisfied.
The edges of the shower were full of mold,
The fan was full of dust mites,
The sheets and bath towels smelled musty (fortunately, we brought our own)
There wasn't even a small space to hang the towels to dry, so we were forced to go to a self-service laundromat.
I recommend thoroughly cleaning the apartment, airing out the spaces to ensure a decent living environment, especially for those who may suffer from allergies. I give you 3 stars in the hope that you can improve.

Disappointment
I enter the building and there are other dead people, going up the stairs I find them on the railing I start to panic... I get to this third floor, we open the door, first they enter and then us... from there I said no I can't I feel bad staying here, it's all absurd, it's absurd to be invaded by cockroaches because there's no disinfestation treatment... moments of panic... and now I'm going... I'll activate Booking for another structure actually in the centre... in the end the owners realized the absurdity that there was in the house due to the stairs and so on and therefore refunded me, but it is unacceptable that a disinfestation is not carried out..
So they say every impediment is an advantage... I found accommodation in the center but really in the center and above all without guests.
