Disappointing cuisine

I sincerely regret having to leave this review, especially because the staff and the owner were truly very kind and welcoming throughout the lunch.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the culinary experience. We chose two tasting menus at 65 euros each, different from each other, but we were very disappointed with the quality of the cuisine. Beyond the very small portions, in a "starred" style, what left us perplexed was especially the quality of the dishes, which we found truly mediocre compared to the price requested.
I understand the search for presentation, but at these prices, one expects a much higher level. It is a shame, because the friendliness of the staff deserves much more.

A wonderful place

We regretted that we could only spend one night in this agriturismo, as it delighted us: the place is very well renovated, with materials and know-how from very competent craftsmen; our room with balcony was extremely comfortable and clean, with top quality bedding (firm cushion, soft cushion, superb linen and linens); a well-designed bathroom with excellent toiletries; and finally, breakfast, taken in a beautifully decorated room with contemporary frescoes, was perfect (with sweet and savoury, a varied offer, fresh fruit and an exquisite pressed fresh fruit/vegetable juice). The staff was very friendly. We can't write a review about the restaurant because unfortunately it was closed that night. We also don't know how we are received during the high season, but the experience we have made makes us want to return because such quality is rare. We would like to warmly congratulate all the staff involved.

Incredibly sweet and kind staff. Food and wine out of this world. Rooms super cozy and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back! Oh and go watch the sunrise from atop the hill next to the castello. You won’t regret it.
