OK place

OK place to stay if your flight arrives too late at night. The owner speaks very little English, so be patient. AND BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL!

Great place. Clean, friendly, and a bit roomier than most affordable accommodations in Japan

This place was super helpful. They were friendly as clean as can be. It’s a decent walk from Kesei Narita station, but doable. They offered to shuttle me wherever I needed to go the following morning, and even allowed me to store my bags there for entire next day. Thanks Karin Doo hotel!

A very clean and tidy hotel for transit

Due to flight cancellation, we booked this hotel two hours before arriving there. It cost us 2800 yen to get there by taxi from Narita Airport. Taking a taxi is a wise choice in the evening. The receptionist can speak Mandarin and is very friendly. The room is tiny but surprisingly clean. The bed is big with a well supported mattress. All basic essentials are provided and there is a 7-eleven within 1 minute walk from the hotel. There is a microwave and coffee machine in the lounge area. A free shuttle van can be booked to take us to the airport in the next day. The room rate is very reasonable. It really gave us great comfort during the unexpected flight cancellation.

On the way to the airport

I decided to sleep in Narita to catch an early train to the airport the day after. The connection is not very frequent but if you organize yourself it’s a good occasion to discover an unexpectedly nice little town. The hotel is not far from the station (1.3 km) but you’d better take a taxi (730 yen, make sure to have the address written or the taxi won’t find it) because the road to get there is busy and without a proper sidewalk, especially unpleasant by night. The hotel is quite basic, you probably can find better options in Narita. Small room and bathroom, staircase without elevator, no breakfast. Paying 100 yen you can make yourself a coffee in the lobby, the kettle in the room doesn’t come with coffee. No shower cap and, very uncomfortably, no bath towel, you have to do with a tiny hand towel unless you have a towel of your own. The owner is kind despite very poor English (the rule in Japan) and he provides a free lift to the train station in the morning if you tell him the night before.
Unsuitable for people with motility problems. If you book online you can pay with credit card.
