An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property. The public hot-spring bath is available from 15:00 to 23:30 and from 05:00 to 09:30. Please be informed that this is a non-smoking property. Guests are required to contact the property at least 3 days prior to the check-in date, to confirm your reservation. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Guests arriving after 19:00 must inform the property in advance. If the property is not informed, the booking may be treated as a no show. Abashiri (around a 90-minute drive from the property) city offers a tour course every year from late January to early March, where guests can board the ice breaker Aurora and experience a ride across drift ice. The property does not carry out reservations for the tour, however.
Important information about the city
Starting April 1, 2026, an accommodation tax will be introduced in Hokkaido. The tax is based on the accommodation fee and is charged per person per night. The tax rates are as follows: Over ¥20,000: ¥100 ¥20,000 to ¥50,000: ¥200 Over ¥50,000: ¥500 Additionally, each municipality may impose an extra charge of ¥100 to ¥2,000 per person per night on top of the Hokkaido accommodation tax. The accommodation fee includes the room charge and service fees, but excludes meal charges and consumption tax.
