Great spacious villa. It’s wonderful to have two private onsen baths in the room (one indoor and one outdoor).
Staff was very courteous, efficient and always ready to assist. I was greeted by a staff member the moment I got out of my car (in the parking lot across the road from the reception area!).

The dinner and breakfast were so good and the staff was so nice to explain to us about every dish. It also provided transfer from and to the train station, so convenient. We booked 4 rooms, each has its own layout. So relax to have onsen in each room. We will stay in this property again if we are back to Yufuin.

I loved it! Excellent amenities. Excellent food. Excellent service. I was looking for something that could offer me some peace and privacy. A place where I could relax and enjoy a private onsen to relax from a month-long trip through Japan. This property delivered that and a lot more.
There are many different ryokan units at this property, each with a different name. You essentially get a detached Japanese home to yourself. My unit (labeled Western Style) had 2 hot springs bath: one indoors (with a sliding glass door) and an external one (covered, but outdoors, which you can regulate the siding slabs for privacy if you want to enjoy it Japanese-style).
The other highlight is the food. I had dinner and breakfast included in my rare. They are both served in private rooms inside their main building. Guests wear traditional Japanese clothing (yakata) for that, which is provided to you in your room. Dinner is omakase style. So, if you are a picky eater, you’ll be better off staying at your regular hotel chain, not an authentic Japanese accommodation. They do not cater to that type of guest. I personally found the food delicious.
The service was outstanding. The property is less than a 10 minute walk to the Yufuin Floral Village. They provide a taxi free of charge from the Yufuin train station to pickup you up and drop you off at check-out.
I will decidedly return.

The accommodation is a bit far from the station, but the surrounding area is very pleasant for a walk. It takes about a 7–10 minute walk to the main street, so it is still quite convenient.

Outstanding service and wonderful food, highly recommended to try their dinner 😍 it’s so good which makes the stay even more worthwhile.
