Dali House was a wonderful, clean, attentive host for myself and my friend who stayed with them. Yassan was so responsive and helpful, with impressive knowledge of Jordan and the surrounding region. The bar was also wonderful to visit and had delicious food and drinks. Hoping to stay here again sometime!

Disappointing Experience at Dali - Would Not Recommend

We recently travelled to Amman from the UK and was recommended Dali by a colleague who described it as warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. On arrival, we were greeted by unfriendly and unapproachable door staff who refused us entry simply because we weren’t part of a group, even though it was a Sunday evening and the place was almost completely empty.
To make matters worse, the staff's attitude felt rude and discriminatory, leaving us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. It was shocking, especially considering how friendly and hospitable everyone else we encountered in Amman have been so far. This was a stark contrast and a very disappointing start to our evening.
Given how amazing the rest of the city has been, I would not recommend even trying to enter Dali. It was a huge letdown.

Dali Guest House was my favourite of the three places I stayed in Amman. The room was spacious, the bed firm and comfortable, and the shower reliably hot. The heating/air-conditioning works very well, which is great in winter.
There’s a shared kitchen, which is really useful, and the staff are polite and welcoming. The café next door is a big plus — modern, bright, good food, reasonably priced, and they accommodate food intolerances. There’s also a happy hour midweek.
The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, and downtown is an easy walk. I wouldn’t necessarily stay for a full week, but as a comfortable, well-located base, it’s ideal and I’d happily stay again.

Unprofessional and non hospitable

I’ve been to this place many times before, but this time the security guard refused to let me in, saying they only allow mixed groups or couples. That’s pure discrimination. I’ve supported this place before, and it’s unacceptable to be treated this way. Very disappointing and unprofessional, I will never be coming back.
