Parking is connected, but stil to go outside — you need QR, etc. Pay separtely after you park. Too much shuffle

I always stay in this hotel, when coming to Riga, because it usually satisfies all my needs - location. convenience, price etc. This time was different. As always - no complaints about the room, everything was good as always. What was not good and actually strange - the power socket for the electric cars was out of order. I always count on that, when I come to Riga by my electric car. And not only the socket was out of order, but also the receptionist was absolutely incapable to advice, how can I charge my car in the Europark garage nearby, he had no clue neither about this, nor about when the hotel socket might be repaired. This is very unprofessional, to be honest. The rest is fine.

Solid 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ great location

As the only Marriott property in town, the AC Riga gets the job done, even if it won't blow you away.
Location: The biggest selling point. It’s an easy, flat walk into Old Town and within a mile of almost everything you'd want to see. If you need to go further, cheap Bolt rides pick up right out front.
Rooms & Upgrades: It’s a large hotel with tons of rooms. No elite upgrade on this stay—just a standard high-floor (8th) King room. It’s clean, modern, and predictable, exactly what you expect from an AC property.
Breakfast: A large buffet spread, but fairly generic. Because the property caters heavily to big tour groups, the breakfast room gets slammed during peak hours.
Gym: Small top-floor fitness center, but functional. It has a couple of treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, and a nice view overlooking the city.
Verdict: No reason not to stay here—it’s clean, functional, and ideally located. Just manage expectations if you're hoping for a 5-star or high-end luxury experience.

Lovely stay. Good breakie. Gym with a view. For atheletes. It's got what you need if you are a bit creative.
