Villa #1 - Exceptional!!

Dear Casa Cobojo Management,
We recently stayed in Villa #1 and had a fantastic experience. The accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, offering an amazing ocean view, a private deck, and easy beach access.
We particularly want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Erica. She handles every situation with professional friendliness and ease. Her entire team is top-notch, from providing beach essentials and security to sourcing a pack-and-play for our granddaughter. Additionally, we highly recommend the Cobojo Bistro for its excellent breakfast, pizza, and staff.
When we realized we had mixed up our dates and needed to transfer to another hotel, Erica managed the entire transition seamlessly and even coordinated our transportation. She is an outstanding manager who ensures every stay exceeds expectations; she is truly a gem to your establishment.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to returning next year.

Relaxing Getaway

Villa Cobojo is a wonderful, relaxing getaway.
The entire Villa is impeccably clean. You will never have to 'reserve' a spot by the pool. The limited number of suites ensures an intimate retreat.
You are steps away from the pool, the beach and the attached high quality restaurant.
The concierge, Erika, is a gem. She greats you warmly each time you see her. She will handle any of your needs with confidence and efficiency.
Though they say children are welcome, my thought is that they may need a place with a bit more activity.
For myself and my partner it was perfect. A place to relax, read, get some warmth and sunshine.

Beautiful & Serene Stay

My husband and I stayed at Villa Cobojo in April 2026 for 3 nights and WOW I cannot say enough great things about our experience. The villa staff was beyond friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our villa was extremely clean and comfortable.
We felt very safe in this serene location. We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend.

A place to rest, rejuvenate and relax

We just had a fantastic week of rest and relaxation at Villa Cobojo, a beautiful little boutique hotel in Bucerias right on Lazaro Cardenas in the Zona Dorada . The owners Joey and Cory, and Erika and all the staff made us feel so welcome and at home. We stayed in Villa 2 which had an amazing ocean view, and a nice shady patio, which was great for letting us stay outside but be out of the sun. The room was super comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious and we made a lot of use of the daybed in the living room, reading and snoozing in the afternoons. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We opted not to cook while we were in Bucerias as Villa Cobojo has their own fantstic Bistro Cobojo and because there are so many great eating options around, but it was so nice to have it available to make snacks and cold drinks. We ate breakfast almost every day at the Bistro, and enjoyed two dinners, drinks and nights of live Jazz there during our stay. The food was great, the service was excellent. It was so convenient and easy to have it steps from our room.
We also really enjoyed the private pool, which we used almost every day. It was great for a little cooling dip, and we spent time reading poolside in lounge chairs. We also got to meet some lovely fellow travellers there, when there are only 7 rooms, you get to know each other!
Finally, we really made use of the small private beach access that the hotel has. They provide beach towels, which was so handy. We went swimming, but also wandered a few hundred meters down the beach and got beach massages by a lovely husband and wife team at Massage Erika. Highly recommend.
For me, the best part of our stay, was how quiet and peaceful the hotel is. We went into Puerto Vallarta for a day of fun and crowds, but it was honestly a relief to get back home to Villa Cobojo and our zen like space. We had come to Mexico because we needed a break from a busy year, and there is nothing like falling asleep hearing the waves crash on the beach to clear your mind and help to reset.
We look forward to coming back for sure!
