Excellent Riyadh

We slept two nights. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was clean. Very friendly owner. Breakfast on the terrace very rich. We were in room 1 which is a bit dark being on the first floor but you have not heard any noise and in summer it can be a good option as I think it will be one of the coolest.

Shame!

My wife and I stayed one night in an apartment next to this hotel!
We saw the owner call a stray dog that evidently trusted him, and they immediately captured it, gave it an injection (killing it?!), and took it away!
It was a torment, and we did not sleep at all that night!
Today, we escaped from this city.... Barbaric atmosphere, shame!
We have photos of the savage act, and we will make them viral when we are in Italy.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE: The owner of this hotel took the life of a stray dog today.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. HORRIBLE. If you love animals, do not support this place. The owner of this hotel took the life of a beloved stray dog today, cherished by neighbors and visitors. Many of us came every year to see and care for him. There are actions that reveal everything about a person.

Deeply disappointing experience with no customer care

I had previously stayed at Casa Blue Star in October and had a positive experience, so I was happy to return. Unfortunately, due to a last-minute flight cancellation, I had to cancel my trip. I immediately contacted the property to explain the situation and request cancellation, but received no reply — not even an acknowledgment. I also contacted Booking.com, who were responsive and did their best to help, but Casa Blue Star simply never replied.
A week later, I finally received a message refusing my cancellation request. What's worse is that when I booked, there was a free cancellation policy in place — but both the cancellation and payment deadlines were five days before check-in, and I had already paid by then. As a result, I lost nearly €200.
What upset me most wasn’t just the financial loss, but the complete lack of empathy and communication from Casa Blue Star — especially toward a returning guest. I felt disrespected and ignored.
Sadly, this experience changed my view of the property. I will not return, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through the same.
