Perfect Base in Essaouira!

We loved our stay at Dar Afram. Nazha and Sadia looked after us very well. Lovely rooftop and cosy rooms. The director of the Riad, Afram is a musician and lovely music and singing filtered up. Excellent, quiet location. There are lots of stairs!

Warm welcome and wonderful breakfast with views over the rooftops.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Riad Dar Afram over the New Year and received a really warm welcome (including a music session with the owner) . We loved the wonderful views from the terrace/ enclosed room at the top of the Riad at breakfast. Our room was very comfortable (the private bathroom was across the passageway) and the Riad was located very centrally in Essaouria.
There are so many excellent restaurants just nearby (another time we would consider a cooking course); lots of opportunities to explore / shop and the chance to walk down the beach. Cat lovers will be delighted! 3 nights was a perfect duration.

A very pleasant stay at Dar Afram

We stayed at Dar Afram from November 2 to 7. Everything was perfect.
We were sensitive to the kindness and benevolence of Saadia and Nazha. Together with Abdull, they made sure that our stay was very pleasant.
The Riad is very beautiful and well maintained.
We had a beautiful and large bedroom with a small living room on the 2nd floor (the red bedroom). Excellent bedding.
The view of the ocean and the medina from the terrace is magnificent.
Excellent Moroccan breakfasts served on the terrace.
We had a meal, one evening, on site: tagine, starters and desserts, everything was delicious.
The Riad is very quiet. It is well placed in the medina, close to the Skala with all around very good restaurants.

A moment of happiness and calm

Simply what we expected.
Sadia offers us a warm Welcoming, where as soon as the keys are taken a tea is offered to us.
For the room, beautiful, the place is beautiful and authentic, it is cool and it is very clean.
The breakfast at the top of the top, concocted by Sadia who wears it with her radiant smile. She's always in good care with us, if we have any questions, she answers them by giving us lots of advice. So cute.
Simply thank you for this stay that made us feel at home.
We will return with great pleasure!!!!
