Good but not enough

It was clean and comfortable but they don’t accept card pay only cash or in the website, good free wifi and but also there is no place where i can put my clothes so i had to keep them on my suitcase, the bathroom was clean and large,

4th time in Morocco in various riad this one is ranked last.

Average breakfast. Room bed decent but shower room to review. Mirror too low. Shower tray does not empty and the shower window 10cm of flies. We asked to eat a tagine, answer: go outside. The departure see on the photo the person is in his sofa and lets us go down 2 floors without a help without a word.

Regular and not recommended

Our booking riad was called Yama, only, typical name to generate confusion and deceive. The taxi that we were previously offered by the internal email of the booking app and that received us at the airport, took us to the Riad Dar Yamna. On arrival, there was no one and we waited believing it was ours and a boy shows up within 10 minutes and in a very bad way all he cares about was knowing if we had paid the taxi driver. Without any welcome greetings and blows at first, he tells us that there had been a mix-up on the part of the taxi driver and that our Riyadh was another. Confident leads us to Riad Amir Fez. There they communicate that our original Riad, was in the works but the strange thing is that the address in the booking app does not locate the address and the two employees, justify it with it has been booking that has removed it from the platform. Anyway... very bad experience even though it was all clean, but feeling cheated became more evident a poorer quality, a room with a small window for ventilation, a basic bathroom with lack of maintenance, on a third floor by stairs with very narrow and steep steps, a basic enclosure on a terrace on a fourth floor for breakfast with broken glass and the lack of another, insistence for cash payment, bill without any validity. An employee has been very kind trying to disguise the organization behind them as they publish what is then not real as was our reservation with superior room. I wish to clarify that in unison, we were three families who were in the same situation, that is, from other Riyadh.
Three years ago, we stayed in Agadir in a very good and new hotel and nothing like this happened to us.

Scam!!!

It’s a complete scam! Our group of 9 girls booked rooms much in advance and arrived around 10 pm the day we had a check in. However a very unpleasant rude guy at the reception told that all rooms are occupied. Then some other guy from the street (he told he doesn’t work here he is just here to help) tried to bring us to other riads much worse deep in the streets. Imagine our level of stress in the middle of the night! Meanwhile the manager tried to push the rest of the group out to the street not to wait in the lobby. Absolutely insane, their fault and no help no support in the middle of the night in Medina for a group of women. STRICTLY AVOID!

bad experience at this riad

The welcome was, at first, rather warm. However, once settled in, we quickly noticed a lack of professionalism from the staff. On several occasions, simple questions received unpleasant and rude responses.
For example, when I asked why the prices were displayed only in euros, I was told that the establishment was supposed to cater exclusively to foreign clients. Yet, during my stay, at least four other Moroccan clients were present. When I suggested that it would be more logical to also display the prices in dirhams, the waiter — who also handled reception duties — responded in a disdainful tone: "Are you used to going to hotels?" His attitude was particularly inappropriate and aggressive.
Moreover, the exchange rate applied is determined via an application, without real transparency or the possibility of discussion, which is very unpleasant for clients.
Finally, the breakfast was very disappointing: industrial orange juice in a country known for the quality of its oranges, margarine instead of butter, and dry pancakes. A service well below what one can expect from a hotel establishment.
I absolutely do not recommend this establishment!
