An amazing oasis in Marrakech!!

An Amazing oasis in the middle of Marrakech!
Riad La Ferme is a breathtaking sanctuary in the heart of the Medina. The decor is stunning, balancing traditional charm with a courtyard full of lush plants that makes the entire place feel like a peaceful, secret garden.
The real standout is Verónica, who is leading the Riad's transformation. She is an exceptional hostess: warm, attentive, and clearly dedicated to making the guest experience perfect.
Best of all, you are within walking distance to everything. It’s the perfect blend of authentic location and serene comfort. Highly recommended!

Exceptional setting and kitchen, forcers on tip

Beautiful setting and absolutely excellent cuisine!
Cons: payment. 1 / we were forced to pay in cash without having been warned beforehand=> withdrawing money is wasted time and bank commissions that we would not have paid with the credit card 2 / the restaurant granted itself without asking our opinion 60 DH tip by not returning our change and wishing us "good evening" when receiving the payment

Overpriced and poor service

When you first arrive at La Ferme Medina it feels like you have entered a wonderful tropical oasis, but my experience was that this was mostly a facade. The rooms (only 8 total) are beautiful and well appointed but are on the perimeter of the central plant heavy area which is a restaurant that plays loud music. The food is good but overpriced and trying too hard to be fancy. Communication was poor with a request for an early breakfast by our group promised but not delivered. I stored my luggage in a locked office after check out but a worker went home with the only key and I was locked out and put through a very stressful waiting period and worried about missing my flight. Another friend got locked inside the compound at 3 am when trying to catch an early flight as no staff were present. I hate to think what would happen if there were a fire and guests couldn't get out! I would much prefer to stay at a real Riad with better service for half the price.

Amazing Central Marrakesh Location!

We stayed for 3 nights, afterwhich we stayed at a pre booked 4 star all inclusive hotel. Honestly, La Ferme was so much better and we wished that we stayed here for our entire duration!
Pros:
- Delicious healthy breakfast is included each morning. They also cater for vegans
- Room is huge and decorated beautifully. It felt like I was home
- The bed was very sturdy and pillows were super comfortable
- Hot water with good water pressure
- Amazing bathtub, actually big enough for 2 people
- Peaceful tropical vibe
- Nice toiletries provided
- Safe, central location! There is a vegan / veggie restaurant right opposite, and Jemaa El Fna is 5 minute walk away
- Extremely clean
- Mint tea was 25 MAD (approx £2) and really fresh and well made
- Air Con looked brand new, it was great at both heating and cooling the room
- Moulay (owner) was very responsive through chat messaging
- We downloaded the inDrive taxi app, and were able to get really cheap rates from La Ferme to everywhere else
Cons:
- We checked their listing for other rooms in Airbnb and it stated that iron and ironing board is included in ALL rooms. However, when we asked staff, they said they can't provide this and someone can iron our clothes if wished.
- TV is not smart TV, it has android player app on there but unfortunately app was not compatible with our phone. We asked staff how we can access netflix and they said netflix is not available. I would suggest to bring a firestick
- There isn't a room service phone in the room, so had to come out of bed each morning to request breakfast at the reception
- Our room was on the ground floor and its not sound proofed, can hear everything from outside, from early morning to late night
- Hot water kept changing temperature depending on whether someone else is using it too
- There wasn't any "Do not disturb" signs available. This would have been handy as we didn't want our room to be cleaned everyday
- Mattress was a quite firm, but I think this is typical in Morocco
- WiFi connection is quite poor, kept dropping every couple of minutes
Overall we would stay again.

Terrible service

Me and my cousin went for a coffee and dessert and the guy refused to let us sit as he said its not time for drinks even that the tables were empty! Then he send us to a disaster terrace with no umbrellas at 36 degrees in the afternoon! We told him we’re not going to sit there and we left and he didn’t even apologized for it, and FYI we were coming from a far place after checking their instagram page and ofcourse they weren’t writing anything about no drinks after 6pm!!!
