Top experience - and we love to come back!

We stayed a week in this very nice riad. It is ideally located in the Medina and is a good base for excursions, both on foot and by local transport. New bed linen and fresh towels were provided daily. Customer focus is of paramount importance here: the hospitality manager and his assistant are permanently available and are happy to help you with all kinds of tips and for arranging excursions. We recommend this riad wholeheartedly and will gladly come back on a next visit to Marrakech.

Quiet in the middle of the Medina

Close to the Mouassine district. You can do everything on foot.
Thanks to Adil and Hamza for their welcome and their service.
The owner, Marie, is very responsive and easily reachable if you have any questions.
A small downside: the bedding, despite its excellent quality, is a little hard.

Quaint & Quiet!

This Road was great for our stay in Marrakech!
Location - great! Close to the Medina - about a 10 minute walk to the souks and about 15 to the big square! The neighborhood was very quiet. The only ting we could hear was the call of prayer which was beautiful to hear in the morning.
Shuttle - Shuttle was great and so worth it! Picked us up straight from the airport and was very safe with the craziness surrounding us! When he dropped us off he waited until the woman from the Riad came to pick us up. He also gave us great advice on how to barter with the people in the souks! Also great history about Marrakech! We also had an early flight when we were leaving and the shuttle was extremely prompt!
Rooms - Our room was beautiful and very quaint, decorated in the Moroccan style. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was extremely spacious! The safe worked well. Beds were made every day!
Wifi - it worked! Wasn't the strongest in the entire world but it was enough to make sure we downloaded maps and made reservations for dinner!
Breakfast - Traditional! They made us breakfast every morning and it was really nice since we went on tours most mornings. It was ready when we asked for it! Orange juice is delicious!
Service - So kind!! The lady and gentleman who run the Riad were very kind! We were greeted with mint tea and welcomed to Marrakech!
Would definitely stay again and recommend so people we know going!

A perfect Riad for a stay in the old town

Riad Dar Balthazar ist a very good place to stay in the old town of Marrakesh. The location is central and great for all activities. I liked very much the traditional style of the room and also the architecture of the whole building. A strong recommendation.
