Amazing staff
We stayed in this riad as part of a tour of Morocco so it was booked for us. I would rate the staff as excellent 5/5. They met us in the plaza where we were dropped off in the evening to personally escort us to the riad so we would not get lost, then provided tea and a warm welcome. Amazingly, when we asked about directions to get to a restaurant for dinner that we had found, the two lovely ladies who checked us in offered to walk us there on their way home as they were going in that direction. We walked about 20 min to the restaurant together! This was so above and beyond. So kind and helpful. One of them even shared her number in case we needed anything and shared the location pin so we would not get lost getting back.
Breakfast was served on the terrace - a variety of breads and rolls, coffee and tea. It was cold in December and the room where we sat was open to the air which made it chilly (I was wearing my winter coat to eat) but I could see how this would be a lovely spring/summer/fall location to eat al fresco.
I would rate our room as 2/5 though. The decor was nice but it was cramped and the first floor room smelled musty and the towels were damp (one of them did not smell good - could not use). The bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
For the cost, it is a great deal though, and the staff's kindness and helpfulness were top notch.

Perfection
Very nice riad in a strategic position very close to everything. First class restaurant. Spacious and complete rooms. But I have to give the highest marks to the Riad staff, I have rarely found people who have always worked hard to help us in everything. We escaped from a Riad where we had slept the previous night and arrived early in the morning without a reservation, within a few minutes they had organized our stay as best as possible. Thanks to Zina (I think this is the name) and the restaurant meter and all the staff. I highly recommend

Incredible!
Incredible experience! Slightly tough to find down a narrow corridor, however do not be fooled as you will be welcomed to smiling faces, fresh mint tea and delicious desserts. What stood out to me most was the convenience of the room, the location to the central markets (all walking distance), 5 minute walk to any cabs, as well as the excellent hospitality and incredible rooftop terrace! 100% recommend.
Only concern was the bathroom on the first floor had poor air circulation, so our room was stinky after 24 hours for the 3 nights we were there. Overall very mild criticism as this experience is wonderful otherwise!

A cozy Riad offering a good accomodation
I can highly recommend Riad Lalla if you are looking to stay within the Marrakech Medina, the epicentre of Moroccan culture.
I was picked up from Marrakech Airport upon arrival and was courteously greeted by Abdel, who generously prepared fresh Moroccan tea before showing me my room. As I was on a budget, I'd booked a small room with few amenities, but I was upgraded to a larger room with an ensuite bathroom and airconditioning for no extra cost.
While sitting on the terrace offering unique views of the Moroccan skyline, Chawki offered invaluable advice on how to enjoy my time and practical guidance on how to avoid scammers.
Breakfast was faultless, consisting of freshly prepared msemen and baghrir, served with jam and marmalade, and tea and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Hassan was always on hand to offer advice or answer any queries.
I would like the thank the staff at Riad Lalla for their hospitality and for making stay so pleasurable.

Very nice
We have stayed here only 1night due to COVID-19 outbreak, however this 1 night was amazing. First when we stepped in the Riad, we were offered a lovely tea while was waiting for our room to be ready. We booked a budget room ( which had a shared bathroom), but the owner upgraded us to a bigger room with a bathroom. OMG was such a nice room, he made our day ! Once again thank you for your kindness.
The terrace on the rooftop was lovely, every morning they serve breakfast there. The staff are sooooooo nice and very helpful. I can only recommend Riad Lalla!!!
