One night in heaven

Stayed here one night as an add-on to a previous tour. What a fantastic place! Booked the cheapest room and it came with the most wonderful carved ceiling. The whole building is lovely, and only has 4 or 5 rooms, so it doesn't feel crowded. Very comfy bed and a god shower. The place is very private, and the pool is nice (cool, but not cold). breakfast was good and our host Abdul couldn't have been more helpful - he arranged a taxi to the airport, and an early breakfast for us. Definitely staying here as and when we return.

Okay, but not again.

Positive:
Easily accessible, parking in front of the building, very friendly and helpful, beautiful facility, very good food.
Negative:
We had the quadruple room, but it is somewhat inconveniently located in the basement; we had cockroaches in the bathroom because we left the drain in the sink open. What annoyed us was the handling of the additional services: a chicken for four people suddenly should cost €50, and a one-hour massage was originally priced at 150 dirhams but then appeared on the bill for €60. One can think what they want about that...

Dirty rooms and with cockroaches

The light block of the pool floats in the middle of the pool while being connected, the condition of the installations is outdated (see photo of the ottoman and the stairs of the common areas). The room is very room (headboard full of dust, toilet bowl broken, tiled bathroom broken). The sheets were not washed, traces of blood, multiple stains and hair present in the sheets. Cattle navigating in sheets and cockroaches on the bed base.
Faced with our irritation, the staff sought solutions, including changing the sheets, which was made tedious for lack of pillowcases and duvet cover. If only the sheets had been problematic, this solution might have been acceptable, but, for us it is impossible to sleep in a room with cockroaches. Facing the owner who did not want to hear anything, we had to find a hotel in disaster at 11pm in the middle of the holiday period. In the end we found a clean, healthy and smelly place. However, do not visit this hotel if you are sensitive to cleanliness.

5 stars all round

My expectations were high as all the reviews were great. I was not disappointed! The whole place is gorgeous, including the pool area with the small fountain. Mohammed was amazing, nothing was too much for him and definitely recommend this Riad!

Spacious Riad

Riad very welcoming, we arrived at 1:30am and received us with a fantastic mint tea and a few cookies. At breakfast on the first day, they filled our table with plenty of varied food, yogurts, crepes, bread, cereals, and much more.
The next few days it was buffet.
The room smelled like sewage, but when I closed the toilet door the smell almost disappeared. At 6 a.m. we woke up to the sound of the mosque.
Riad Mazal muito bonito.
