Aïcha, the pearl of Saghro

Arrived as a family with 5 for a night with dinner, we fell in love with the place and the hosts. The rooms are comfortable, the view from the roof terrace of the Kasbah is breathtaking. The village deserves a stop, time to stroll through its alleys, palm grove and typical shops.
Like her cottage, Aicha is a pearl, she welcomed us as if we were her friends or family, her meals are succulent and prepared with love, her sense of contact , our exchanges and her kindness made our stay at home unforgettable.... So much so that we delayed our departure to enjoy its welcome and the haven of peace that this place inspires. We recommend!

Unforgettable Berber hospitality

We found this the most heart-warming, comfortable accommodation. We have been travelling for close to 2 months from Australia and found Aicha the most attentive, warm and friendly host we have experienced. The aesthetic of her generational home was full of beauty and interest with so many cool and comfortable spaces to hang out in. Her rooftop terrace accessed by a winding stairwell was very atmospheric. Every need was tended to with generosity and typical Berber hospitality. Everything was immaculately clean and rooms are generous in size. The highlight was her cooking skills and conversation. Home grown food, fresh and healthy. Her tagine and soups were skilfully spiced and had such depth of flavour. She got up so early to give us a hearty breakfast under the stars for our early departure. A kind gesture that we will not forget. An utterly delightful and unforgettable experience.

A very wonderful stay in a very nice place with extraordinarily gracious hosts. You can sit in the beautiful courtyard or enjoy the view from the roof terrace of Nekob. The food was very good, very rich breakfast and the lady of the house is an excellent cook. So nothing but...
