Overall, a comfortable stay

Stayed here for four nights. Location is a bit far from downtown but there is a local bustop nearby which cost just 200 kyats per ride. The hotel provides generator backups to Yangon’s daily power cuts so that’s great. There’s an emphasis on security in the form of an extra password-locked door at lift lobby, but to me that’s just a dash of inconvenience. The room is very well designed – I especially liked the direct usb ports provided. Killed a couple of mosquitoes in the room, and my hot water shower takes a couple minutes to heat up. Faint KTV music can be heard through room insulation on weekend nights. The hotel massage was just ok, not as good as I read.
Regarding the WiFi, they’re using the daily password system which I hate as it almost always gives me problems. Sure enough, my Wifi only works for the first night, after which I ditched using hotel WiFi since I’ve got my own mobile data. The staff were friendly with ready smiles and as a previous review points out, breakfast was outstanding. Absolutely loved the fried rice n ‘potato smiles’

Service is very warmly and nicely. The layout of the room is good. However, it felt noisy due to the sounds of cars passing by outside.

is somewhat pricey The meal is terrible, and the hotel rooms are a little bit filthy. Although it is a three-star hotel, the staff seems unable to respond.

Amazing Place

Good hotel to stay, friendly staff. Food was average for an Indian menu, I am sure it would have been better for local taste. Shwedagon Pagoda is 15 mins drive from the hotel. Rooms are spacious , neat and stand at par with international standard.
