Exceptional Views of Okavango River

If I could give more stars I would, what a hidden gem this place is. The views, accomdation, food and the staff just exceptional from start!!! We discovered Simanya by accident enroute to etoshia doing a differnt route from the North and wow it blew us a way!!! Defnitely a place to visist.

Don't miss this experience

This is the very best you can get in the area. An easy drive from Grootfontein or Tsumeb. Tarred road all the way to your room. The staff are exceptional and the accommodation is top class. The location on the river is fabulous. Peaceful river cruise, tiger fishing.... a must if you travel to Namibia. Don't miss out!

Kuvango peace

We loved this place! Let your mind and soul quiet down. Luxurious rooms, great food and super friendly staff. Most beautiful views of the Kuvango river. Camping facilities are the best we've seen so far. There are various activities from donkey cart rides to day tours to Nkurenkuru and the most beautiful little church. No more corrugated roads, it is tar road all the way from Windhoek to the lodge. Thank you Simanya team, we will definitely return.

Best place to get away from the hustle and bustle

Very beautiful place on the Kuvango River. The room was very luxurious, each with a view of the river. The restaurant's food was very good. The staff went out of their way to make our visit unforgettable. Everyone is very friendly.

An absolute must visit, Simanya River Lodge, the centre of so much to see

The most serene area, rooms literally on the river. The Restaurant serving good food, friendly staff. Swimming pool overlooking the stunning river and Angolan farmers on the other side of the Kuvango River. The most exquisite river cruises.
