The location is great. This is in the Boudha area of Kathmandu, so far fewer barking dogs and nightclubs at night like the Thamel tourist area.
The rooms are comfortable with hot water, which is rare for Kathmandu hotels.
Also a beautiful garden with good food.
The staff is friendly and helpful and can ensure you'll enjoy your visit in Nepal.

Very nice place, beautiful garden

This place is really amazing, the garden is an island of peace, quietness, a place to relax, you feel like you are somewhere else, totally. The garden has a mango tree, guava and pomegranate, and others. The rooms, most of them with a balcony, enabling a view of the surrounding mountains in the back, are very cosy and functional, all you need is there, hot shower, television, Wi-Fi, room service, etc.
There is a restaurant and a bar, where you can taste very good quality coffee, and tea, or else! The staff, and the manager Sudip, are very helpful when you need some infomation about the city, trekking adventures and more. The brand new parking has a lot of space for cars or motorcycles to park. Everything there is good and I really enjoyed my stay there, highly recommanded!

Hidden Gem in Boudha

Relaxing and refreshing....first comes to mind after just finishing a hot shower here. Those are nearly non-existent in budget priced hotels in the touristy Thamel section of Kathmandu.
Hotel Cloud 9 is a leisurely 10 minute walk from the iconic Boudhanath Stupa--a bit tricky to find for newcomers, but it lies next to the Tamang Gupa that locals know about (if Google maps is a challenge).
One here it's like an oasis of beauty with a unique garden with a variety of local plants, where you can relax or meditate...possibly drinking gourmet coffee, fine tea, other drinks....or sampling quality food.
The staff is very helpful and friendly and will assist with your tourist needs.
Although the airport is close with flights taking off and landing, flights generally don't come and go after midnight so you can get a great night's sleep without the continual dog barking and clubbing racket that you are certain to get in the touristy Thamel section.
This truly a "hidden gem" for travellers seeking a quality stay off the well beaten path.

Perfect Hideout in KTM

What a amazing place big garden with super cozy environment staff are super friendly and good was amazing price was reasonable. It’s perfect place to hide out from crowded city. And best thing about this place is it’s just 15 min walk from crowded boudha.

Eine Oase in der Stadt

Eines der besten Hotel Erfahrung die ich in Kathmandu hatte. Das Hotel liegt in Laufweite zur Stupa von Boudha und hat einen wunderschönen Garten mit Bar, abendliches Lagerfeuer und super nette Angestellte. Eine Bibliothek für gemütliche Filmabende gibt es auch und man trifft viele interessante Leute hier. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!
