Great locations and helpful staff. Rooms are very small and stairs are challenging, this may want to be emphasized to a greater extent.

Just perfect!

From the minute I arrived at Alp Hotel I was well looked after. The customer service here is exceptional. This was the last hotel I stayed in during a 3 week trip in Europe and it was by far the best. Everything about this hotel was amazing and I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Amsterdam.

Helpful staff. Free coffee in the front.
Room was small for 3 people but the shower was very good with great water pressure. You have to be prepared that there is no elevator and no air conditioning. If you have a large heavy suitcase, you will likely not enjoy bringing it up the very narrow spiral staircase to your room.
The hotel is also about 30 min walk up all the major sites. It’s fine if you want to head out all day but if you’re the type to go back to your room in the middle of the day, you might find that slightly annoying, unless you are prepared to bike or take public transportation. We are walkers so we walked back and forth but we were pretty exhausted at the end of the day.

Amazing stay and wonderful staff! They were very kind and helpful during our stay here, even informing us of things to do and what transit lines to take to go to certain spots. Definitely recommend this stay in Amsterdam.
