SUPerb stay ;)

They're so extremely hospitable. The view is amazing, the pillows unmatched, every detail is well thought through, both in the design of the hotel as in the ingredients on the menu. I keep coming back by car, by bike, or on SUP.

Mom and son weekend. Mom 80+.

Marvellous location just outside of Amsterdam on the water, which creates serenity. Beautiful property with both excellent food and a service team that gets it!!

Visiting Amsterdam and surrounds

We loved staying here - a very beautiful location - excellent design and decor - completely seductive setting - an abundance of wildlife all around - staff so friendly - nothing too much trouble and the most delicious food. Also just a short bike or taxi ride into Amsterdam - and a great place to retreat to after a long day in the city

A waterside treasure in peaceful countryside just 11 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal

De Durgerdam is a real treasure; we had such a wonderful time. Difficult to believe that its position at the water's edge in peaceful countryside is just 11 minutes by road from Amsterdam Centraal. The building is charming, with a fabulous old-world atmosphere. The rooms are superbly comfortable, stylish, clean and quiet. The service is impeccable: we were so well looked after throughout our three-night stay. We are already planning our next visit!

Beautifully located in a unique location near Amsterdam and yet it seems like you are far from civilization.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Ideal base for Amsterdam and surroundings. Quiet and idyllic place and hotel. Very friendly staff and service was top notch. Very good food. Very copious breakfast. We found the hotel a bit overpriced considering the rooms have no view of the water and are rather enclosed. Rooms are very cozy and comfortable but a bit dark, if you like a lot of (day)light. Yet our experience was top because we had beautiful weather and went out a lot.

Dank je wel voor je mooie en uitgebreide review. Wat fijn dat jullie zo hebben genoten van de rustige, bijna afgelegen sfeer en tegelijkertijd de nabijheid van Amsterdam. Vier nachten klinkt als een heerlijk verblijf.
We zijn blij dat het team, de service en het eten zo goed zijn bevallen, en dat het ontbijt in de smaak viel. Dat zijn precies de momenten waar we het voor doen.
Onze kamers zijn bewust wat knusser en beschut ingericht, met een knipoog naar de oude Hollandse stijl. Voor wie graag wakker wordt met uitzicht op het water, hebben we ook een aantal suites die daar helemaal op uitkijken.
Wat leuk dat het mooie weer en jullie uitstapjes het geheel nog extra bijzonder maakten. We ontvangen jullie graag nog eens voor een volgend verblijf aan het water.
