Nice place to stay

I recommend this hostel if you come to Amsterdam. It is located in an area close to all public transportation, the museums, walking distance to Amsterdam Central. The staff are very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. The rooms are great.

Overall, I had a nice experience. The staff were very nice. The downsides was that the facility has a very tiny lobby, which also doubles as the reception and kitchen. That was a major turn-off. The fridge is extremely small to cater to all guests. Finally, the stairs are quite steep, which is, in any case, a common headache with all old buildings is central Amsterdam.

location was very convenient to parks, trams, and the van gogh & rijksmuseum!
lovely cannals, everything is so close and yet it still feels like this hostel is a slightly hiding in plain sight getaway from the hustle and bustle, the best of both worlds!

Do not stay here

We felt extremely unsafe here to the point that we left before even staying for a full night. The hostel rules were not enforced or respected. After we told the hostel staff that, they still didn't give a refund or discount. Also, it was very dirty—I found hair on my pillow, and the bathrooms were not kept clean.
