The staff were extremely helpful and friendly (some of the friendliest staff I have met). The rooms were a little hot due to Amsterdam experiencing warmer than normal temperatures, but the staff did everything they could to keep us as comfortable as possible and were very attentive to our experience. We were given a larger room for the first few days of our stay for the same price. The hotel was quiet and set in a peaceful neighborhood, which was very nice after a day of dealing with crowds. Like many of the older buildings in Amsterdam, the stairs are a bit steep, but are easy to manage if one doesn't rush. Overall, it was a great stay.

Accessible room a joke.

Stayed at the Isis back in March. We booked an accessible room as I'm a full-time wheelchair user. We walked into the room and it wasn't big enough to swing a cat let along have a person in a wheelchair in it. We opened the curtains to look at the view only to be looking at the inside of a shed which was attached to the room. Definitely will not be going back to Amsterdam as I don't rate that either. However if we did I Definitely would not stay in the Isis again.

Hotel is in a great location, especially for exploring all the North has to offer (and we found a lot!), staff were super friendly. Room was a bit dated but was quiet and worked well for us. Easy to get over on the ferry too, and subcult next door was great for breakfast and night cap drinks.

The hotel is well located in the lesser known area of Amsterdam North. It’s a short walk from the free ferry @ Central Station. It’s in a residential neighborhood with a coffee shop and two restaurants on the block. The hotel itself is pleasant but basic - which is to be expected at the price point.

Staff was very pleasant, and helpful, carrying our suitcases up the stairs for us. The room was a little tight for 3 people, but otherwise was very comfortable, including the beds and pillows.
