SATISFIED
Small but comfortable rooms, I note the absence of closets and, if you stay for a week like I did, it can be a problem; you will find a small rack to hang the essentials. Very quiet rooms and hallways, you sleep very well. Quality breakfast and great kindness and helpfulness from the staff, who are truly qualified. At the entrance, a small reception area always offers you fresh water and treats upon your return. When I return to Amsterdam I will book at the Leonardo hotel again.

Too noisy and too expensive for such quality
To make matters worse, my room was extremely noisy. Every ambulance or police car that passed by either woke me up or made me jump.
I won’t be staying here again. It’s far too expensive for such poor quality.

Terrible service
I have to add that it was pouring rain and I booked uber your boutique hotel down the road and even though the did not have occupancy the reception staff were very accommodating, maybe your night staff should go there for training... terrible

The evening you returned to charge your phone and look for another hotel, as you indicated earlier, we experienced a massive thunderstorm in Amsterdam. After a few unpleasant experiences, we lock the door of our hotel. This is for the safety of our guests and my staff. Unfortunately, my colleague from the night shift was unable to speak to you calmly because the breakfast restaurant was flooding at that moment and there was a power outage in the hotel. He was busy resolving the issues. Because he works the night shift, he could not have known that you had checked out that day and had been a guest with us.
My apologies for this experience; we have since spoken to our employee about his behavior.
Best regards,
Hans Komen – General Manager

The location of the hotel was excellent, with everything within walking distance. The surrounding area felt very calm and safe. Buses and trams are close by, and you can reach the hotel from the airport with a single direct bus.
The breakfast was good, although a bit more variety would have been great. The staff were friendly and professional throughout the stay.
I would recommend this hotel if you prefer a smaller hotel with an excellent walking location near the city centre, close to the Museum Quarter and Vondelpark.
