Fine, but nice view of square with churches has two sides

We stayed three nights from Tuesday in room 6 on the first floor using the half board package. A nice spacious room with twin beds and air conditioning. The room has a spacious balcony and a wide view of the square with restaurants and churches. Nice during the day, but during the night you can hear the bells strike every 15 minutes which takes getting used to. Although you notice that the sound insulation could be better during the day and in the evening, it is otherwise quiet during the night. The meals in the three restaurants were fine, also in the vegetarian option. You just need to know that even with an arrangement a reservation is required. However, an unpleasant experience with an employee was neatly resolved by the management. Overall a good place to stay a few days.

No 4 stars for us

In our view, quite old-fashioned
….
In addition, no kettle in the room eg
No holder for towels in the bathroom
In addition, the towels were not super good
The air conditioning was “probably” down
And that at 30 degrees
No discount, no drinks for free
So... as “small” compensation or something
You don't do that
….
Too bad
In addition, directly above the nightlife of the town

Good hotel but not for us anymore.

The Service of the hotel is nothing to criticize, rooms are cared for, bed is good, breakfast and dinner fine. We have been going here for four years in a row and that says it all but now it was really the last x. The package had become much more expensive than last year. Secondly, on the second floor there were temporary (long-term) guests who caused a lot of inconvenience. We couldn’t play a game in the general area because doors were slammed and children ran through the hallway until half past 12.
Too bad... next year but looking for something else in the area.

Gem in the heart of Denekamp!

Wow Wow Wow!
Hospitality and comfort at their best! Super nice place in the heart of the village. Mega friendly staff and choice of various restaurants. So you can eat somewhere else every night! As with the Alderman, our favorite. Highly recommended!
