A quaint hotel in the forest.

The setting is peaceful from the city life of Enschede. The best asset is the friendliness of the staff. The restaurant brings the forest feeling indoors.
Dinner and breakfast a available with a full bar facility too.

Nice place, but a few missers

The hotel looks like a classic countryside hotel except for the lift, that is painted partially as Van Gogh's sunflowers. Weird contrast. We slept on the third floor. Nice and quiet, but there are some remarks: the room with the seats has no view outside, just a roof window as a boys sleeping room in older houses. The shower is placed so low that if a person wants the water on top, he or she must on his/hers knees. No big issues, but not really comfortable. This part of the hotel is old, and has some minor damages in the decoration.

Really friendly staff, a warm welcome and situated in a quiet area surrounded by countryside.
We stayed for 2 nights in a standard room, clean, warm and comfortable.
We dined twice in the resteraunt and both times the food was great as was the service.
All in all great value and would definitely stay there again.

Charming hotel

After cycling all day we had a warm and friendly welcome to this hotel. Our room was good and spacious. Dinner was the hotel menu and was very delicious. Breakfast was a big selection which we tucked into for energy our days cycling. Lovely country feel.

hidden gem!

We dropped into this place during our bike ride around Eibergen, and were pleasantly surprised! From the main road it looks like a regular farmhouse, but once you find the terras you see that it is much more than that. A great atmosphere, wonderful gardens, and very friendly staff. We had a cappucino, which was well worth the price.
Next time we intend to be a little earlier and have some lunch!
