Fine but improvement point

It was a very nice hotel for the little ones! Enough to do clean rooms and good food, 1 downside I found the changing rooms of the pool. Because this is 'public', you don't have separate cubicles. I didn't like having to dress my son between adult men. The rest was fine

Very incompetent and brutal staff

Staff who call themselves captains behave very unprofessionally and have refused the entry of a group of children who wanted to come and play the bridge during their summer holidays at Carlton. Given that the staff has a big mouth to children and customers, I am as a customer amazed at the way they abuse their role model and play in their own court. Electronic scooters and fatbikes are confiscated and chained by the unprofessional staff of Carlton de Brug.
We have of course filed a complaint and hope that this complaint will be thoroughly resolved by management.

Lovely hotel for the summer

Lovely hotel, great service, and a fun athletic atmosphere. Summer is the best time to visit, because you might find yourself surrounded by hordes of gorgeous Arab footballers. Not exactly a complaint.;))

Be careful: Arab football teams dominate the hotel facilities

The HUP sports hotel is a nice hotel; there is plenty to do, especially for the children.
However, there is a very big "but"... during our stay, there were several Arab football teams that apparently hold several training weeks there annually. These groups of Arab footballers dominate the hotel's facilities, such as the swimming pool, the sauna, and the gym.
As a Western guest, you feel like a stranger.
We inquired here and there in the hotel about the situation, and apparently, those Arab football teams come for several weeks every year. So, you have to be very careful if you expect to have a nice family vacation there.
