Wonderfully hospitable stay, highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at 't Kapelhuis! Fantastic (electrically adjustable) beds, nice shower, super attractive room and a very nice private entrance. In addition, the excellent care of the hostess to make us happy, a really warm experience! Looking forward to next time!

Awesome!!

Great location and room, extensive breakfast! Super sweet hostess, my husband had fallen and was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Roermond and she insisted on picking us up from the hospital.
We will definitely come back because our short holiday came to an abrupt end. Also thanks to the lovely ambulance staff!

Wonderful!

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at ‘t Kapelhuis. It is located right outside Thorn, within walking distance. The building is old but quite modern inside. The hostess was also pleasant and helpful. It’s a pity we did not manage a vlaai, her specialty. Our fur baby was also very happy, considering the big space and fields surrounding this charming place.

Cute place

Small B&B in the middle of countryside. Perfectly put up - all new and clean, great bed and very warm and welcoming owner. Quiet surroundings, just some birds singing and your own door to garden. Only slight downer was the lack of privacy due poor soundproof between rooms. Could hear almost everything from next room. But definitely a gem in quiet and pretty countryside.

Historic Chapel house on the edge of Thorn village

Recently stayed here after struggling to find space in a B&B in the white village of Thorn. Not really sure if I should share it with you in case we cannot get in next time we visit! The Kapelhuis was built in 1676 and sits beside the chapel. We wanted to be close to Adams Music Centre for a 3 day flute festival. The location was ideal for this as it was a short walk away (1.2 miles) & a 15 minute walk into the centre of Thorn village. Because of this it was a very quiet location with no traffic noise. The owner Leonie was a lovely host & we left feeling like we had made a new friend. There are 4 rooms in the B&B and we stayed in rooms 1 and 2. Each has it's own entrance onto the garden. There is also a lovely bar room/cafe room where you can have coffee, tea, a glass of wine or Limburg beer. The rooms have twin beds pushed together as a double with separate single duvets - they are comfortable. The ceilings are high with beams & a wall with exposed brick work. Attached is a shower room/wet room with WC & basin, luxury complimentary shower gel, shampoo, conditioner & shower cap. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room - but this is not a problem as you can easily wander across to the bar & Leonie will make you one from there & you can take it back to your room. Breakfast is at a time to suit you & is a lovely & relaxed affair with coffee/tea/fruit teas, freshly squeezed orange juice, selection of meats, cheese & fruit. A basket of bread rolls, fruit bread & freshly baked bread, apricot jam, yoghurt & boiled eggs
