A nice, clean and affordable room. Relatively easy self check in.

Our shower didn't work (there was only cold water), and there was a smell of sewage in both the bathroom and the bedroom. The drain made a gurgling sound whenever the sink was used. The TV didn't work; it was displaying an error code. The power outlet crackled when we plugged in a cord. There was no staff present, and the employees at O'Learys couldn't help us. I sent a message via the Hotels website requesting a refund, but no one has even bothered to reply. Very poor service! If the shower doesn't work and there's a sewage smell, I don't think one should have to pay full price for the room, yet the hotel management hasn't even bothered to apologize. I found a cleaner in the morning and tried to explain the issues, but she didn't understand English, Swedish, or Norwegian. She held up a bottle of Klorin when I mentioned the shower. Klorin (bleach) isn't enough; a new thermostat is needed. Room 302.

Nice place for a stop-over. Very good food (dinner) at O’Learys and ok breakfast.

Self check in and free parking are great. The hotel itself has seen better days. Worn out furniture in the rooms, dirt around shower and soap dispensers. There unfortunately is very little noise isolation between rooms aswell. The hotel feels very dated, and does not match the very high price charged. Would be much better had it been given a full refurbishment. Would not recommend, but there are few other options in the area.
