Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay here with the family. This is the second year in a row that we have chosen Bardufosstun, and we will definitely be back. This place is great for parents of young children and families. Bardufosstun is a bit remote from traffic, which makes the place calm and quiet. All visitors can use the gymnasium and fitness room of the hotel between 07.00 and 22.30, which is excellent for active families.
The hotel has a large common room with board games and a deck of cards, and drawing materials for the little ones. All employees are welcoming and service oriented. The room was clean, and had plenty of space for extra beds and a cot. The bathroom was spacious, which is a big plus.
The breakfast at the hotel is absolutely lovely with a varied selection. Much better than most other accommodations.
Bardufosstun is truly a hidden treasure!

The price is too high for quality

No possibility to eat in the restaurant since it was closed because it was Monday. The rooms were clean, but the mattresses very poor. Breakfast was ok, but small selection. The receptionist was extremely welcoming.

Spacious room. Great staff. Welcome drink n snacks was very thoughtful. Good spread of breakfast. I like the handheld shower head just that it was leaking. Everything very good except for the location. It’s not in town. E-car charging port a bit far n no place to rest while charging. Should have an eatery nearby charging port.

Sporty or Spartan

Room, bathroom and bed clean and fine, the latter with soft trailer. Bathroom with little shelf space. Good darkening possibility. Wi-Fi stable. No air conditioning. The hotel operation for the general public seems to be a side business, mainly training camps for athletes. The room rate is quite self-confident, you could have known before, parking costs nothing. Breakfast with coffee from the thermopump pot, porridge, various white bread slices with toasting possibility, sausage, cheese, jams, yogurts, the whole cold program. Scrambled eggs served cold, not cold, but intentional. Special: chicken salad, smoked mackerel, various marinated herrings, bruneost, fiskekaker (was good), breakfast sausages (well) and meat or fish balls, I didn't find what it was, but was hot. Some kind of egg casserole with leeks? It was quite interesting. After all, gluten-free selection but no butter. Full self-service including clearing. Location outside in quiet surroundings.

Good experience

Very simple accommodation. But everything you need is there. Pleasant room size, good bed, clean shower/toilet and very friendly and helpful staff.
Had a breakfast package today because of the national holiday the day before yesterday - well done
