Close wash

Nice common area. Good breakfast.
The room was not washed properly. The toilet was bad pull down.
The sink in the bathroom was both dirty and tight

Could do with some improvments

Mixed experience at Scandic Kokstad. The staff were friendly, which was definitely a positive.
Unfortunately, there were several things that made my stay less comfortable than expected. I didn’t get the room I had booked because the hotel had apparently accepted more reservations than they had rooms available. I was told that guests arriving late could even be turned away because there simply weren’t enough rooms. That’s quite worrying and really shouldn’t happen at a hotel.
The bed was also surprisingly small. I couldn’t turn from one side to the other without almost falling out of bed, which woke me up several times during the night. This made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Another downside is that the hotel doesn’t provide basic extras such as toothbrushes or similar items. If you need something, you can buy it in their shop, but the hotel itself doesn’t provide these basic amenities.
The staff were nice, but overall, the room situation, small bed, and lack of basic amenities made the stay less enjoyable than expected, and I do not plan to book at this location again.

Not quite clean do....

The hotel room itself was nice, but it was not washed and there were not enough parking spaces as a bus and a fishing truck took 6 of the seats. Otherwise we were given the help we wanted and they were problem solvers.

First room had cob webs, water damage to the ceiling and the floor had not been cleaned and had sticky residue all throughout. It was gross. We got sketched to a second room and it was better but the floor still had not been cleaned. Location to the airport is great but other than that I would not recommend due to cleanliness.
