Beautiful location on the fjord and spacious rooms in the older section. The photos on Hotels are outdated though as the superior room looks nothing like this anymore. We had to pay extra to get the room we actually wanted and had booked through hotels.com. Breakfast has decent selection for gluten free and dairy free but they could do more such as offer soya milk and non dairy yogurt.

Nice room, no heating.

Nice room, but quite poor service and the heating in the room was broken. Very cold to be honest. Given how expensive it was it felt like a poor experience to be honest

We loved this place. Home for three days. Great staff, wonderful location. Rich and fresh breakfast buffet. The fjord ferry steps from the hotel and the public beach down the road were super convenient. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Tje, nothing more than it must!

Located by the fjord, the rooms are clean and beautiful. Historic hotel with the challenges it brings. Improvement potential in service and customer care. Limited selection in the restaurant, if they have room?

Loud building works

Fantastic location and very nice clean 2 bedroom apartment. Excellent dinner. Unfortunately very loud building works directly outside our room starting at 0700 with drilling and banging. No warning of this at check in and despite promises from staff that this would be stopped it didn’t. If you are going to book here make sure to check the status of the building works.
