fantastisk nydelig plass !

Bodde på denne utrolig koselige campingplassen i 8 netter på min oppdalsferie . Det var veldig stille og rolig her. Sanitærannlegget var rent , fikk vasket klær ,dusjet og hadde alt jeg trengte. Fine bademuligheter på campingen. Det er også mulig og gå på tur rett fra campen. Mye å gjøre i området , kort vei til dovrefjell og oppdal. Det var billig å stå her med campingvogn. Kommer tilbake til dette nydelige stedet !!

Have the most necessary, okay for one night.

Campsite that has the most necessary. Beautiful area, and walking distance to the jettepots, but also right by a Europe road and the railway..
It is positive that you can check in by self-service all day, but not so positive that you never meet the employees.
There is a reception/kiosk on site but please note that it does not open before 11 and check-out is by 12. (Unfortunately have no information about the range in the kiosk)
The sanitary building is ripe for modernization, and lacks div soaps and paper, but is washed and clean.
Here you can stop if you need a place for the night, but if you are on your way over the mountain I think you can as well choose one of the other campsites nearby.

Good location, reasonable price and good service

We stayed in a cabin for one night at this camping. The price was good, the cabin was warm (wintertime), well equipped and perfectly fine for our one night stay. The owner was very friendly. They do have a small challenge with their wifi, she told us, even after having installed a new system. This is a common problem in Norway when a place is in between two mountains. We could connect with it and as long as we sat next to the window we even got a good signal so no problem for us! The cabin has a TV and a dvd player. The location is perfect, in a deep valley, next to a river just before the Dovre mountains. The Magalaupet rock formation in the river is just beside the camping. We will definately return!

Not child friendly

We rented a cabin (#10) for the night. It had running water, shower and seperate bedroom. It was clean and the standard was OK. The manager was nice and helpful. No activities or playground for kids and close proximity to river so not child friendly.

På tur nordover

På gjennomreise, men ble værende i 3 dager. Herlig brusende elv som farer forbi. Masse fugler og flott natur. Så 2 klngeørner også da de nok prøvde å jakte på sauelam oppe i åsen. Vi var også nedenfor fossen og så på jettegfytene. Spennende. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning. Kan anbefales.
