Amazing views and very nice apartments

This camping is located on a fjord offering the best views. If you arrive stressed all stress is gone the instant you look at the view.
We stayed in a downstairs apartment with a lovely garden. The apartments are clean and spacious. The only thing they lack is and extra lock on the door allowing you to lock the apartment from the inside while you are asleep (like you can do in a hotelroom).
The small kiosk at the reception sells ice cream, burgers and fries and some sundries. All basic but nice. There are a few supermarkets only a 5 mins drive away.
If you want to explore the South of Norway this is a great location.

Play stand is old and worn, missing a memory among other things.
Was referred to a place for our caravan. Set it up with a rack and all. Get to know from one of the neighbors that it wasn't for a caravan but a mobile car and that we had to take everything down again.
The owner/manager comes afterwards, says he didn't know we had arrived, and that it was a caravan place - but how do you know when you get the message to stand there...
No excuse, but a suggestion to stand somewhere else on the campsite. We thanked no thanks and stalled to Vøra instead. Don't talk about suggesting rejection or anything.
Shame, for the beach on Langeby is nice.

Bobb bobb

This is a camping located a good distance from Sandefjord city centre and no bus connection. Large campsite with sandy beach and fine swaberg. Toilet and shower all right. We got there and had to look a little to find someone to the reception. They're probably a little used to the place going around anyway. A little well laidback on some things. We noticed that there came a caravan with a raft that ended up standing less than 2 meters from us and in addition a gas grill was set up right outside. Not fireproof! I told a guy about this. Driver of the square went past many times but let it pass. Generally speaking, all the best sea view sites are occupied by campers. So count on standing in among all other caravans and caravans. But short distance to the beach and the swabergs is there.

Flott beliggenhet!

Vi var 4 voksne som leide en av di 12 leiligheter campingen har, vi had en 3 roms i andre etasje med balkong med nydelig utsikt over campingen og over fjorden like ved hvor vi såg fergene inn og ut av Sandefjord gikk. Leiligheten var bra utstyrt med både vaskemaskin og oppvaskmaskin. Eneste vi var meget missfornøyd med var renholdet av stekeovn og grillen som stod ute. Vi klaget og det kom en ung gutt å vasket inne i stekeovnen, var der i 5 minutt og dro igjen, men resultatet av rengjøringen var ikke godt nokk, det skulle vert skrubbet, brukt ovnsrens for å få det rent nokk. Vi orket ikke å klage igjen, så vi brukt ikke stekeovnen mens vi var der. Vi var i kiosken en dag å bestilte pizza, men den var ikke gjennom varm når vi fikk den servert, den var å laget av halvfabrikat, vi ville aldri ha servert en sånn pizza til noen. Ellers så had vi det bra på Langeby Camping, ligger i fine omgivelser, fin natur, ei flott badestrand. Så vi kommer gjerne tilbake til dette steder en annen gang, så får vi håpe att diverse renhold i leilighetene blir mye bedre?
Vi bodde i fem døgn på denne campingen.

Dårlig renhold og kommunikasjon

Leiligheten vi leide var ikke innsjekkingsklar da vi kom kl 15. Kommunikasjonen var dårlig, og vi fikk ingen unnskyldning for forsinkelsen. Etter å ha ventet en time fikk vi en leilighet som langt fra var vasket særlig grundig. Madrasser var skitne, fingermerker på vinduer, skap og håndtak, skittent og seigt avtrekk over kokeplater, samme med utemøbler, veranda og grill. Veldig lite innbydende! Spesielt i disse tider med korona bør det vaskes godt av kyndig renholdspersonale. Det er for lite oppbevaringsplass og utstyrt for 5 personer. Det manglet stige til overkøye. Lyspære virket ikke i ene lampa. I tillegg var det større mengder søppel lagret utenfor bakdøra på resepsjonen. Virket som en overarbeidet og lite proff daglig leder for denne campingen. Anbefaler i alle fall ikke leilighetene!
