Lovely girls trip glamping

We were 2 friends who had a wonderful night at Trysil Dome glamping. Sam greeted us upon arrival and explained us all about the different facilities and also had sent us messages before our arrival to let us know that we should bring boots as so much snow has melted, and it was a bit muddy, so we came prepared. The Dome was lovely, super warm and tons of wood, refrigerator, tea/coffee tray with glasses, water, plates, cutlery etc. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved the heated mattress. We loved cooking over the fireplace, and it was quiet and peaceful. We were happy to be the closest Dome to the toilets. The toilets and showers area were large and clean. It was a wonderful get away for one night.

It could have been a good weekend if the customer service was better!

We had planned a stay for a weekend in November 2021. When we met the owner, Sam, he was really nice and helpful. We had read some comments about him not replying his customers, but were surprised when he gave us a good customer service while we were staying in our dome. The domes were cosy and nice. It was a fun experience even during the winter times, APART from the fact that we had mice on visit. There were at least two of them running around in the dome. The dome is not that big: the mice were not scared of us and I was NOT comfortable enough to chill with them for another night. I know you should expect those kind of things when you are out in the woods, but because it was a dome and they felt so close to us I was really scared and uncomfortable. We messaged Sam and he told us that he understood that we wanted to check out a night before (so Saturday instead of Sunday). He asked if he could do something for us and I asked him if we could get half of the payment for the second day back IF it was possible. He said he would refund for one whole night. I have contacted him SEVERAL times after that: no reply (even when we have called) and no refund! He could have just apologised and said that he couldn't refund the money. We would have understood.... But the fact that he lied and didn't do as he himself promised made the experience worse than it would have been. I wanted to wait a couple of months before I wrote a review so we could give him a chance to reply, but now it's more than 2 months ago so I have given up. I would not recommend this place.

DEBITED TWICE FOR STAY AND CANNOT CANCEL OR REFUND!

Probably the worst service in Norway. Ever.
Paid for a gift card, booked a weekend. Was charged double! Tried in over 4 months by over 10 (!) times via mail, over35 times via phone to cancel & refund. No reply what so ever except “I will pass this on to the manager, mam!”
OUTRAGED!
DO NOT BOOK!

True tranquility and nature at your doorstep!

Epic experience! Stayed for one night in the Dome Village in mid March. Arrived after dark and the "light trails" in the snow to the domes were magic! Sam, our fantastic host, made us feel very welcome and served us a great glamping breakfast (prepaid) at the dome. The kitchen area was in a rather poor condition, but both toilets and showers were clean and charmingly rustique.

A true pleasure

We had a terrific experience at Trysil Glamping. Our host Sam kindly greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the area, the facilities and our dome. He gave us every instruction we needed to know and told us to contact him if we had any inquiries. The dome had everything we needed, such as cooking supplies, wood for the fireplace and the bonfire pan, a refrigerator and many other necessities. The facilities were nice and the area was lush.
We highly recommend Trysil Glamping to anyone who wish to have a beautiful and complete outdoor vacation experience! We will definitely be returning.
