Over priced even for such basic facilities
There wasn't much to like about this hotel except perhaps the location. f it had been significantly cheaper then it would have been excusable but at the price charged it was way too expensive for such a low level of comfort. The aircon was noisy and so smelly that we had to open the window regularly throughout the night to let the fumes out. Needless to say not much sleep was had.

Very, very basic
Basic really means basic here. Few cliches about cheap hotels are missing, right down to the loose toilet seat and non-working lamps. But it was reasonably clean and well located.Breakfast is not served. There is a small cafe next door and the Lulu supermarket about half a mile away has a nice restaurant that opens around 9 in the morning. No complaints when we checked out a day early.

An economic hotel in the heart of Khasab!!
It is a comparatively new hotel and provided with basic amenities.
if you are looking at an economical place to stay in Muscat, this is the place for you. The hotel is close to the port from where you start for the dhow cruise. Also, it is close to Lulu Hypermarket.
A nice place to stay if you are travelling on a shoe string budget.

It's like indoor camping.
Well, where to begin.
No toilet seat or shower curtain, no internal phone, no lamp, no towels, no kettle. Door didn't lock from the outside and the bidet wasn't plumbed in. Walls and headboards were stained and the walls were covered in the remains of previous fixings.
On the plus side, the aircon was reasonably new and worked (even if it was thick with dust), the matresses were new and the sheets and duvets were impecably clean.

Heart of the Town
Located in the right middle of the town in the Musandam peninsula of Oman, accessible to UAE via Ras Al Khaima. Hotel is right behind air port so can be a noisy affair when in operation. However, mountains behind the airport offers a scenic feature. Hotel has an internal restaurant, but being in the town has many options in the near vicinity, as some of the eateries remain open till late.
Most of the local tour operators for dolphin spotting, snorkelling,and scuba diving are
Iinked with hotel and also offer pick and drop facility. With a 4x4 ride a lot can be explored in the vicinity, Khor al Naged is one such place, only recommended to be approached by an experienced and confident driver.
Hotel is simple and decent facility and should not be treated as a resort, rather as a safe base to explore the Musandam peninsula.
