Top stay

We have had a very nice stay. The owners are super friendly. We had to leave early to leave and they were ready on time with breakfast for us. Delicious pancakes with egg sandwiches. Also a nice Hostel with nice rooms.

Do not go to that hotel

The service was terrible, and also everything was very dirty, not hygienic at all, and the man who works there became very rude and also said that he would kick us out. I definitely do not recommend it

Wonderful rooftop lounge area

The family that owns this wonderful little hostel were friendly. The rooms were clean, a bit small, but everything you needed. The showers were hot no issues there, but the bed was slightly hard. Still had a good sleep before heading into Colca Canyon. The family also stored our extra baggage while we were gone. Such a great service to offer! A part of the building, like so many others, was partly finished and looked like a second floor would be added. I would stay there again.

Nice place for a few days in Colca area

We stayed here for about 4 nights whilst exploring the Colca area and Chivay. Parking was secure, the owners were friendly and very helpful, breakfast was included, showers were warm (sometimes hot) and the main square was a short walk. There was also hot water and tea/coffee available in the evenings which was great.
The only downsides were that the rooms were very cold with no heating, but they gave us hot water bottles at night which was lovely. The other thing was the tourist bus that stopped there for breakfast; the passengers were noisy especially when using the bathrooms and slamming doors, and they have no consideration for the fact that people are still sleeping in the Hostal.
Overall though I would recommend this place especially if you need parking.

Cute little place

This place was very simple to walk to. It was a away from the stores and restaurants so it was quieter. The staff was great. Very accommodating. The best part was they brought everyone an old fashioned hot water bottle right before bed. It stayed warm for a very long time. Since there’s no heater and it was pretty cold this was a great bonus!
