I traveled with teens and we stayed on the second floor. The nose from the music and people partying in the subfloors came right into it room until 10-11pm, which was obnoxious. No warning about the noise beforehand.
Entire bathroom floods when taking a shower sure to inadequate drains in shower.
We stayed in the hotel one afternoon to relax after tours, etc. and we had loud hammering next door as they remodeled an area next door. Again, no prior warning, nothing. It was unbearable.
Nice and shiny with slapdash construction.
Service/staff were great.

A disgrace!! A tourist trap

SHAMEFUL, REPUGNANT, DIRTY, DILAPIDATED, EXPENSIVE!!! A SCAM!!!
I would have liked to give 0 stars, but the site doesn't allow it!!!
This hotel is a tourist scam!!
It displays photos and rates for a luxury hotel/SPA standard. In reality, everything there is dilapidated, unmaintained, and terribly DIRTY!!!
It is truly shameful!!!
The entrance: On Booking, it looks classy, like a movie red carpet, but that is not the case at all. The entrance is, like everything else, SHABBY!
The reception: A foul smell of cat urine hits our noses as soon as we arrive.
We should have left, but we were stuck (excursion to Machu Picchu the next day, 4 a.m. wake-up call, we didn't have time to go look for another hotel), so we had no choice but to stay.
The room: Shabby, dirty, nothing is maintained.
Bathroom faucet on the verge of coming off in our hands.
The shower is disgusting, with hair from a previous guest all over the drain.
No water pressure, neither hot nor cold.
Impossible to wash your hair there, you wouldn't be able to rinse it!!
I had to use a cup to collect water so I could somehow rinse off my 10-year-old daughter.
No bath mat, nor any hand towels.
The whirlpool tub in the room: Here again, the cleaning is questionable; old bars of soap are lying around here and there.
The water is barely lukewarm, and when you turn on the jets, pieces of black mold are sprayed out!! Disgusting! Here is a rug, but frankly, it must have seen dozens of feet!! It was filthy and full of stains!!!
The sheets have hair and other black debris on them.
The windows are broken and do not open.
And the glass is covered in bird droppings!!
The pool: the waterfalls haven't worked for what seems like 5 years!! But that's not all, the entire filtration system isn't working either. The water is dirty, cloudy, with spit on the surface! Absolutely disgusting!
I am including a few photos, and I find that they don't reflect the exact truth, because they downplay the facts.
This hotel is truly a tourist trap; don't give them your money.
We ended up fleeing this place as soon as it was possible, and honestly, in the same neighborhood, we found an unpretentious hotel for 3 times less money that actually allowed us to shower normally!!
When we left, the manager harassed us via WhatsApp so that we wouldn't leave a negative review on Booking. Since his numerous requests went unanswered by us, he indicated on the site that we hadn't shown up at his establishment, so we couldn't post a review!
Fortunately, Booking is a reliable site that asked us for confirmation; obviously, we informed Booking of their actions and we were able to post our review so that all users could become aware of the values of this establishment.

Room floor planks were broken in many places and can hurt on bare foot. Some music in the night was disturbing and that indicates room is not sound proof. Room did not have any windows that was strange and smell from the kitchen was another negative point .
Staff was very good though .

I had just finished a 4 day trek to machu pichu and specifically booked this place for the jetted tub but the water was cold or luke warm. We couldn’t use the jetted tub at all because it was so cold. We weren’t given hand towels and we also had no filtered drinkable water. Staff didn’t speak great English but was able to help us get an airport shuttle in the morning.

There was no hot water for the tub or the shower, rather just lukewarm and borderline cold water. It was a big let down after expecting something relaxing. The room was clean, and the staff was very nice. Breakfast is included which was a plus as well.
