Basic hotel that could do with modernising. It’s the first hotel we’ve ever been to where we were handed a remote control for the tv and air conditioning unit at check in. The WiFi was awful and non existent in the room. Even in public areas it kept dropping. Workmen started banging and making lots of noise at 7:30am and were still going at 5pm. Someone also tried to get into our room. No safety deposit box. Staff are nice but don’t speak English. They were happy to let us leave our luggage all day and use the pool area as our bus didn’t leave till 10:30pm.

Surprised by the quality of this hotel

It looked basic but it was clean, spacious and secure. The hotel is obviously investing money to improve their property. The elevator installation was almost complete. The minibar in the room was an unexpected bonus. We tried to book a more expensive property, but it had no vacancy, so we booked a deluxe double room at the Bris Hotel. During our stay we visited the more expensive property. We were pleased that we booked the Bris hotel as it was in a much quieter area and better value at about half the price of the more expensive property
